Ingredients:
5 Cups Flour
1/4 Cup Sugar
2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1 Teaspoon Salt
1 Cup Shortening
1 Yeast Cake
2 Tablespoons Warm Water
2 Cups Buttermilk
2 Sticks Margarine
Cooking Directions:
Sift dry ingredients. Blend shortening. Dissolve yeast in warm water, let stand 5 minutes. Add milk and butter. Add yeast mixture to flour mixture. Mix well. Turn out on floured board.
