This weekend is stacked with awesome fights that are sure to gather all fans for some exciting online betting boxing. If you haven’t found your website to join yet, I suggest checking out one of the best Australian bookmakers online that features all the big fights in the sport of boxing. The site I mentioned even has a grab a mate promotion for more fun with your buddies.

Now, what are the exciting fights this weekend you say? Well start it off first with…

Chad Dawson versus Adonis Stevenson

The fight is set to happen this Saturday in Montreal where Dawson puts his WBC light heavyweight title on the line against Stevenson. In online betting boxing, Dawson is heavily favored to win the match. Although Stevenson has a record of 20 wins with only 1 loss, he lacks the experience of fighting top-caliber fighters in his career. Ward on the other hand has 31 wins and 2 losses and battled some of the best fighters of this generation.

In a recent interview, Dawson is confident that he is back on full strength and promises to do a quick job against the challenger. The reigning title holder is swift to dismiss Stevenson as a boxer that is far below his level. Dawson recently stated that:

“Stevenson is a worthy opponent but he's not on my level.”

He also stated that despite the fight being held at Stevenson’s home turf, Montreal, the result is going to be the same:

“I expect the crowd to be against me, but I'm not worried about that because I know that I can win them over with my performance.”

“I've fought and won over there before so I hope he's not banking on home field advantage because it's going to take a whole lot more to beat me. Once again I'm going to fight in someone's backyard and I'm fully confident I'll come out victorious.

Marcos Maidana versus Josesito Lopez

On the same Saturday and different city, Marcos Maidana will also have his battle when he steps in the ring to defend his WBA international welterweight title against Josesito Lopez. Both fighters have fought high quality competition over the years.

Coming into the fight, Maidana has the power advantage as shown by his record of 33 wins with 30 coming by knockout and only three losses. Lopez has a lower knock out rating with 18 knockouts from his 30 wins and suffering 5 losses in his career.
