Andrew Bogut Looking Forward to a Big Year in the NBA
In his recent interviews, Andrew Bogut didn't shy down from expressing his optimism for the upcoming NBA season. Several weeks ago, he has proudly stated that he is in full health. Recently, he said that he aims to play all 82 of the regular season games this season. If you witnessed how he performed in the recent playoffs, it'll provide with a very solid reason to believe that he will be able to accomplish what he aims to do. Despite admitting that he had to play through pain, Bogut's contributions every time he stepped on the floor was very important to the post-season run of the team. If he is indeed healthy, it can only get better.
There's also the fact that there is an additional motivation for him to play better. The Aussie center is playing the last year of his contract this upcoming season. That means, how much money he will making in the following years will depend on how he performs this year.
The good news is that the Warriors has a roster that will allow Bogut to be better. Armed with several sharpshooters, the Aussie center will have more room to operate on the inside. This was quite apparent in the recent playoffs wherein he created several highlight-worthy moves around the basket as he was able to use his good ball handling to attack his defender.
Although we can't say for sure that he'll be able to live up to his expectations for the season, Bogut being healthy and playing his best will only better the chances of the Golden State Warriors for next year.
