After being somewhat lifeless in the majority of the first half of the NBA season, the Los Angeles Lakers seem to have found a formula to cure their losing problems. If you haven’t been watching the team, they have just recently won three in a row against Utah Jazz, Oklahoma City Thunder and New Orleans Hornets. The Jazz being a playoff contender and the Thunder being one of the best team s in the league, only the New Orleans win was the one that wasn’t so surprising. The three-game winning streak made a lot of buzz in online sports betting sites including online betting Australia websites.

It’s not just because of getting a win, which is kind of rare for the team this season, but more on how they won those games. In all of those three games, Kobe Bryant has played the part of the primary facilitator. That is very surprising considering that just a little while back, you couldn’t even use Bryant and facilitator in the same sentence. That would have been illegal. The mere fact that Kobe Bryant is passing means that the team is desperate to win, or at least try to win. Well, good news to them that the team is winning.

However, a major concern for fans is the question of “How long is this going to last?”

While you could argue that Kobe Bryant can keep this up if he wants to because he is smart and talented, the important fact here is that facilitating has never been his nature. Just like a lion that feeds on meat, Kobe has always made a living in the NBA by being a prolific scorer. To make a shot for himself was always his nature. That nature of his that made fans and haters alike cringe when he takes difficult shots is something to be excited for when the ball is in his hands with only a few seconds left and the game is on the line.

Thinking about this, if he’s focused on dishing passes to his teammates the entire game, when it comes to a one-possession game at the end, will he still have the killer instinct to take and make the shot? And what if the team loses a game using this style of offense? Will they scrap it and try out another experiment?

Just to point out, the team has no time for experiment if they want to reach the playoffs.
