What The Heck Is YOUR APSense Anyways?

I want to know, I really do! Me, I'm a basic guy, life has given me my share of licks..yes I do have problems like everyone else I suppose. Sometimes..in this journey called internet marketing..we get caught up. I mean there's so much BS on the internet, SCAMS, people looking to make an easy buck and of course the "secrets".
Whatever happened to people just being people? People helping each other, people getting to know each other, people having FUN together? Isn't this what SOCIAL NETWORKING is really about? Or is it about copying and pasting ads? Because if it is, I guess I'm in the wrong place, but I don't think so! From my experience I KNOW what web 2.0 really is.
This is a COMMUNITY! Large, diverse and amazing! It belongs to us..because we are the people and without people there can be no community! So what should we be doing here anyways? Do you run around the community you live in and yell at everyone you see: Join my business now because it's so great and it's going to be the next big thing and I love it so you should too and get in before it's too late!
Let me tell you...I could give a rip about your "Hot Biz"!!!!!!!!
I don't care!!! And I never will! Until I at least know you a little, who you are, what you stand for, what you bring to the community! And even then, I'm more likely to look for ways to benefit us both, than I am to join your "flavour of the month" I mean...there is just too damn many, and right now..my number one commitment..is building relationships..inside and out of this community, showing people that when we work together we WILL all succeed!
Every successful business that ever came into existaince, succeeded because the people who built it understood how vital it really is to build LASTING relationships with people, they understood how you have to pour VALUE into each others lives, how important communication really is! If you are faceless, if you have no back-bone, if you stand for nothing other than "join now", your business is doomed! and you are wasting your time!

It surely does set a bad taste in my mouth when someone comes on full blast with an advertising campaign, and could care less about getting to know me as a person. I agree with you very much. I understand that some people just don't have time for all the social side, but I've also noticed their blogs and subjects are not getting viewed or topped. I'm guilty too, of putting up a profile, and dissapearing.. just not here at Apsense. It's hard to try to handle them all. Besides, as I've mentioned many times now in other places on Apsense, it has turned out to be my personal favorite. I hope to always be fortunate enough to have the time to socialize. And by the way be careful so that your head doesn't grow to big and may not be able to fit through the door. I love talking. I love having fun. If I have no one to talk to or no fun, I get really bored. I love the fact I can talk with anyone in a conference room or skype. I do get sick of emails and sometimes the chat. Get to know each other first, then maybe I will get interested in what your about. The WEB 2.0 has been a feature here, that has helped my website admittedly. I am sick of others ramming there opp's down my throat. I am here to help others if they want to be helped. I believe getting to know others and word of mouth are very powerful on the internet. I read peoples profiles, so if I want to know more or if you have held my interest because you are ethical and straight up you will see me. Once again Garnet...you have done it! You are so absolutely right!
I think about my company and why I joined. Well, I was fortunate because one...I met these people way before I joined. I was fortunate to go to a seminar they held in Atlanta. So ...I met them face to face, they kept in touch with me..and not to mention that my fiances mother was in the company too...(trust me....I didn't do it cause of who is she in that way....) but who she IS (we are great friends too btw ya'll) ..and everyone I met!!!!!
So they (the people) and then of course the company and what it was about. But..if some Dick, Tom or Harry off the street came up and threw it in my face......I would of just walked away and not even thought about it again.
This world..you are so right with all the bad! For me..(I don't know about everyone else) I didn't start my business just to be miserable like I was when working for 'someone else'!
I came into this to meet people, help people, TALK, be free, and MOST OF ALL be myself! And I definitely am not the one to hide behind anyone or anything! Cause I came into this world with a heart, mind, and soul..and mouth...and I am going to USE it and ENJOY it...!
A lot of people do make a lot of money by 'hiding' ..but trust me..the money doesn't last long, cause they wont last long!
People FOLLOW People. Some get led astray...but trust me...they come back! If not, they end up leading the others astray.
That is why I am so glad of our decision to have the calls to get to know each other! It is going to be full of everything that you said
