Spaghetti with Garlic
A favorite with all generations, spaghetti is a classic dish in almost every household. You can whip this up in a jiffy and you’ll be able to serve hungry guests in no time. Turn to this when you are looking for well-loved flavors.
To make Spaghetti with Garlic and Olive Oil, you will need:
1 pack al alali Spaghetti no 5
3 cloves garlic, finely minced
1/2 cup good quality EVOO
1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
2 tablespoons parsley leaf, finely chopped
1/2 lemon, zest, optional
Grated Parmesan ,optional
Step 1: In a large saucepan, heat the EVOO. Add the garlic, red pepper flakes and salt. Cook till the garlic loses its raw flavor and turns slightly golden.
Step 2: In a separate pan, bring water to a boil. Put in the al alali spaghetti allowing it to cook for 3-4 minutes. Cook the spaghetti till it is al dente. Once cooked, drain off the excess water and add in the EVOO and garlic mixture thoroughly incorporating the two.
Step 3: Add in the lemon zest and parsley and give it a good mix.
Step 4: Sprinkle the grated Parmesan on top when serving
