In the winter months, a warm soup is a favorite with everyone. This potato soup comes tones of flavor and is fulfilling with every spoonful. Most kitchens will have potatoes around and you can whip this one up in a jiffy. The parmesan cheese adds a decadent touch making this soup a family favorite. You can serve this with sandwiches or even as a wonderful start to a meal.
To make potato soup, you will need:
2 medium potatoes, peeled and grated
2 green onions washed and finely chopped
2 cubes al alali Chicken Stock dissolved in 1 liter boiled water
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
Grated parmesan cheese
Salt to taste
al alali ground black pepper to taste
Cumin to taste
Step 1: In a pan, heat the olive oil. When the oil is ready, add the green onions and saute till soft.
Step 2: Add in the potatoes. Add the salt, the al alali ground black pepper and cumin and mix thoroughly.
Step 3: Add the chicken stock and allow it to cook till the potatoes become tender. Sprinkle the parmesan cheese on top.
Step 4: Serve in a soup bowl and garnish. Enjoy tucking into this delicious soup.
