Mexican Nachos
When the kids come home ravenous or guests drop in right after work, Nachos can be a perfect snack to serve. Loaded with veggies and packed with flavor, nachos are both filling and delicious. Plus, there’s cheese which makes everything taste just so good.
To make Nachos,
you will need:
Oil
12 corn tortillas
250g Cheddar
cheese, grated
250g Monterey Jack cheese, grated
For the nacho
sauce
2 cups al alali
tomato paste
1 green onion,
finely chopped
2 tablespoons. al
alali onion flakes
1/2 teaspoon al
alali garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon. al alali
ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon al alali oregano
Salt to taste
Step 1: To make
the nachos, roughly chop the tortillas into triangles.
Step 2: Heat the
oil and fry the triangles till lightly golden. Keep aside.
Step 3: In a
separate bowl, mix all the ingredients of the nacho sauce. Add salt as per
taste.
Step 4: Place the
nacho triangles on a baking tray. Slather a generous amount of the sauce on the
nachos. Top with cheese.
Step 5: Bake in
the oven till the cheese melts.
Step 6: Serve
warm and enjoy. Top with guacamole for an extra touch of yummy.
