TS ICET, or the Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test, is a state level examination conducted for admission to various postgraduate courses, including MBA and MCA programs in the universities within the Telangana state, and their affiliated institutions. The responsibility for conducting the examination lies with the Kakatiya University, Warangal, which it does on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad.

Eligibility criteria
Any student seeking an admission through TS ICET 2017 must fulfill the eligibility criteria, set by the conducting body, which are –
•The candidate must be a citizen of India
•Local/non-local requirements, as set down by the educational institutions in Telangana. must be satisfied by the candidate
•Any candidate, not a national of India needs to satisfy the rules set by the university or institution they seek admission into
•Students applying to the MBA course must have a three years bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution
•Students applying to the MCA course must have a three years bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution, with mathematics as a subject
•Candidates must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination (45% marks for the SC/ST candidates)
•In case of candidates who have taken the qualifying exam through a distance mode, the program needs to be recognized by the Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE, and DEC.
•Candidates must score a minimum of 25% marks for an admission through
TS ICET 2017•There are no minimum marks required in case of the SC/ST candidates.

•The online application for unreserved categories is Rs. 350
•The online application fee for SC/ST candidates is Rs 250

What to expect
•The TS ICET 2017 entrance examination will be an offline test
•There will be a total of 200 questions in TS ICET 2017
•Each question will carry one mark
•There is no provision for negative marking in the exam
•The question paper will be containing three divisions comprising of Analytical ability, Mathematical ability and communication ability.
