Cheryl, do you choose not to contact someone who shows the profile to contacts only ? Jul 4th 2011 10:38 |
Cheryl Baumgartner Medical Billing/Coding/Insurance
No I do not contact them because if they want to make contacts they would be showing their profile. I can understand limiting it to be viwed only by APSense members but when they prevent APSense members from seeing your profile, I have to wonder why their are even here because it is obviously not to expand their contacts. My reasoning is that some of them are tipping their toes, they heard horror stories about privacy invasion, they are new to online marketing. Jul 4th 2011 11:39 |

If they want to block their profile from being seen by the internet in general, that's one thing Philippe but blocking it from APSense members is something totally different. If you go to a party how many people will you meet hiding in the bathroom? It's the same difference. If your profile cannot be seen by APSense members the message is that you do not want to be seen. If you do not want to be seen then obviously you don't want to connect with anyone. This is a business social network not a personal social network, businesses do not hide if they want to grow. Learn the rules of APSense before posting anything. You have only one chance to make a good first impression so you better make sure you make a good first impression. First set up your profile with a picture of you as an adult (one of the rules!) and write something about you and your business. Than I suggest to go to APSense Wiki where all features are explained and the rules for posting. You will know the difference between articles, rev pages, business pages and discussions in groups. It will take some time reading the Wiki but it will give you a head start in being using the features effectively. Besides studying the Wiki I also recommend joining some help groups on APSense about APSense and effective social marketing in general. http://www.apsense.com/connect/apsensewiki Jul 5th 2011 06:23 |

I noticed a change in the translator in the toolbar. It does not translate anything for me (in Dutch). I remember the previous version worked much better. People could read pages like apsense TOS and articles in their own language. This seems no longer possible. I know you can use google but being able to do this on apsense would be more practical. Can you look into this issue Wincer? Jul 18th 2011 15:59 |

How about the listing of "People you may like to meet" contain only people who you have not ALREADY accepted into your network? Oct 3rd 2011 02:38 |
