Housing Board Haryana New EWS/BPL Flat Schemes December 2014
Housing Board Haryana is once again inviting applications for the
allotment of residential flats in different cities of the state for EWS
and BPL families. After launching a few schemes in the current year
2014, the board has announced two more schemes in the last month of the
year i.e. December.
To pursue the increasing demands of affordable housing from economically weaker section and BPL families, the board has come up with these schemes. The housing board is offering a total for 2156 multi storey flats for below poverty line families at 10 different locations and 9827 multi storey flats for economically weaker section at 6 locations across the state.
The locations where the EWS flats being offered are Hisar, Jagadhari, Karnal, Fatehabad, Agroha and Safidon. The BPL flats are located in Palwal, Yamuna Nagar, Panipat, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Gharaunda, Sonipat, Ratia, Dharuhera and Narwana.
The registrations will be invited through offline modes through some designate bank branches across the state from December 22, 2014. The cost of applications form and brochure for EWS category would be Rs. 150/- while the same for BPL category would be available at Rupees 200/-. The application form cost will not be refundable. The last date of registration for both the schemes is 21 January 2015.
The designate bank branches include Oriental Bank of Commerce, Sarva Haryana Gramin Bank, Punjab National Bank, Central Bank of India, State Bank of Patiala, Corporation Bank, Union bank of India and Andhra Bank. The application forms for the schemes can also be purchased from the office of HBH at C-15, Awas Bhawan in Panchkula and the office of executive officer in Karnal, Faridabad, Gurgaon and Rohtak.
Eligibility criteria, terms and conditions, type and number of flats at each location, cost of flats and other detailed information about the schemes will be made available when the registrations starts on 22 December. The information will be available at the official website of Housing Board Haryana www.hbh.nic.in
As per the eligibility criteria for EWS and LIG in earlier schemes, the authority invited applications from the candidates with less than Rupees 1 Lakh annual income. The board will require the income certificate of the applicant to confirm the eligibility and consider for housing draw.

The flats will be allotted through lottery draw within 6 months after the closure of the schemes. The booking amount which will be a fraction of the total cost of flat will be refunded to all the unsuccessful candidates within 3 months after the draw without any interest.
