Aadhar Pay - Aadhar Payment App for Merchants

Aadhar Pay is a new android smartphone app developed by IDFC bank in association with National Payments Corporation of India and UIDAI. The application has been developed to encourage the use of digital payments among merchants in the country.

The Aadhar Payment App is designed in such a way that only the Aadhar Number and the biometric scan of the Aadhar holder customer would be enough to pay to merchants against any purchase.

Aadhar pay app can be downloaded on the android smartphone which is connected to a biometric scan machine and used to accept payments. The biometric machine is available at just Rs. 2000.

The payments through Aadhar pay app can be accepted just by entering the Aadhar number of the customer in the app, the app will then show all the bank accounts of customer linked with that Aadhar number. Customer then needs to select the account from which he/she wants to make the payment.

Biometric scan of the customer will act as transaction password for the customers. The app will eliminate the use of passwords, plastic money and hassle of paying bills of credit cards/mobile wallets.

The app will eliminate the hassle of getting PoS machines for the merchants.
