Easy and Tasty Recipe for you when you feel lazy to cooking

Here are some easy and tasty recipes which you will enjoy cooking and eating. These three recipes will give three major flavors of Indian food. So start and have a chance to have a homemade healthy delicious meal.

Veg Biryani
This dish is a Mughalai dish used as a main course. It is a mouth-watering dish option for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians made up of rice, vegetables and spices.

Method-
  • Add three cups of water to rice and set to boil. Add a little salt to it. When the rice is more than half cooked, add cardamoms two green and one black, five cloves, two small pieces of cinnamon to it for aroma and flavor in the rice. Remove water, which is left from it.
  • Take a pan and heat oil in it. Add the two green cardamoms, five to eight cloves, one black cardamom and cinnamon as well as a bay leaf with caraway seeds and roast.
  • Add two medium sized diced onions and roast for two minutes. When onion becomes slightly roasted, add green peas, cauliflower florets, French beans and carrot into it. 
  • After that add salt to taste and let it cook covered on medium heat for 3 minutes.
  • You need to add one teaspoonful coriander powder, chili powder, ginger garlic paste, one teaspoonful turmeric powder and little water and cook for two more minutes covered.
  • After that add garam masala powder and puree (tomato). Add saffron and let vegetables cook covered for two minutes on low flame. You can make rice layer at the bottom, followed by the layer of vegetables. 
  • Next, you need to sprinkle Mint leaves, garam masala powder and coriander leaves on it.  
  • Cover the pan for steam cooking and mixing of flavors. Serve hot.

Pav Bhaji
Pav bhaji is very popular street food of Mumbai. It is a dish made up of vegetables and that is easy to cook and tasty to eat.

Method-
  • Take vegetables like cauliflower, potatoes, carrots, peas, capsicum and French beans. If quantity of vegetables differs, the taste of the pav bhaji will also differ each time. Boil all vegetables properly given above except capsicum. Chop all vegetables except peas and mash roughly.
  • In a pan heat butter and add cumin seeds to it. Then add diced one medium onion and cook until it becomes translucent. Add two chopped green chillies and then add two medium size tomatoes chopped properly. Stir and sauté until tomatoes become soft. After that, add one big capsicum, chopped properly. After it softens add chilli powder, turmeric powder and pavbhaji masala. Cook it for two minutes covered on medium flame and then add mashed vegetables.
  • Mix well. Add water and salt to taste. Use potato masher to mash all vegetables in pan directly. Let the mixture boil to get the desired consistency.
  • Sprinkle coriander leaves at last and serve hot with pav (bread).

Chana Masala
A famous and delicious Punjabi dish made up of cheakpeas and are liked almost everywhere in India.

Method-
  • Soak 200 grams cheakpeas overnight in water. Rinse soaked cheakpeas and add water. Add two small pieces of Amla as it gives colour to chana masala. Add a teaspoon salt, set the mixture in pressure cooker and cook until 10 whistles on medium flame.
  • After that heat oil in a pan and add one-teaspoonful cumin seeds, three red chillies, one bayleaf to the oil. After that add four medium sized diced onions to the pan and cook until it becomes translucent.
  • Add two teaspoonful turmeric powder, one teaspoonful red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder and salt to taste. Stir until the mixture leaves oil.
  • Then, add chopped tomatoes to the pan and cook on low flame. When tomatoes become soft, add cheakpeas to the pan and mix well.
  • Add water and cook until the gravy gets the desired thickness. Serve hot with puri or bhatura.
