solids start getting separated. After boiling for a few minutes the mixture is
allowed to cool. Next, it is strained to remove the solid particles. The remaining
product is called clarified butter which is light golden in color.

But ghee is
slightly different and is cooked for more time, without removing the milk
solids until they become caramelized. Due to the caramelization of the milk
solids, ghee offers a nutty toasted aroma. Ghee has a brown color and
granular texture that is different from clarified butter which has a buttery
