Ayurvedic treatment for Parkinson- Kudrati Ayurved

Our day-to-day life depends upon how we move around
and do our daily chores effectively. What if our hands start tremor and legs
become tight and rigid, become difficult to move or affect the normal activity
of day-to-day? Do you feel helpless? The second most common degenerative
neurological after Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson's disease has affected 1 % of
the population over the age of 60. However, Ayurveda identified this disease
before so many years ago, and today you can find Parkinson treatment in India with the help of
Ayurveda.
In Ayurveda, Parkinson disease is known as
“kampavata”, where kampa means tremor and vata means to blow or move like the
wind. The principle of the Ayurveda is to achieve the balance of all three
doshas in the body. This disorder is caused by aggravated vata dosha, which is
the presence of aggravated air in the brain. The aggravated air is formed as a
result of pure digestion, increased vata dosha in the stomach and then it moves
to the brain. Over time, the aggravated air affects the area of the brain that
controls involuntary movements which leads to Parkinson.
Signs And Symptoms
Apart from hand tremor, there are several other signs
which can help in detecting the disorder such as drop saliva uncontrollably
from the mouth, an involuntary quivering movement, and sleepiness or drowsiness
most of the time. In Parkinson disease, the voice becomes monotone and
expressionless and masked face which many people mistake as depression. In
addition to that, festinating gait, rigidity in the body, and reducing blinking
also indicate Parkinson disorder.
Although modern science does have medicines for
Parkinson, they have some side effects too. However, there is an excellent
herbal treatment in Ayurveda for Parkinson without any
side effects. Free from chemicals, additives and preservative, ayurvedic
remedies can be the best combination for an effective treatment for Parkinson.
