11th International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) Results 2017 – Latest Notification

IMO Results 2017 will be announced soon in January 2018 by the organising body Science Olympiad Foundation. The 11^th International Mathematical Olympiad exam will be organised on their relevant scheduled dates i.e. 5^th and 14^th December 2017. And the scores will be announced after the entrance exam is held. As, Science Olympiad Foundation is an Unprofitable institution which has persuasive IMO (International Mathematics Olympiad).

 International Mathematical Olympiad is organized for all the applicants so that they can perceive and analyse their capability in mathematics. So, that the participants may analyse and improve their weak points to compose themself good in Mathematics. As, it is well known by all the candidates that before the IMO results 2017 will be announced  by the officials will release the IMO answer keys so that the eagerly waiting candidates may predict their final scores by rechecking their attempted answers with the released answer keys. The answer keys are out for the set A, B and set C of International Mathematical Olympiad exam. All the attempted candidates can now analyse their attempted answers with the released answer keys according to their particular Sets.

The International Mathematical Olympiad answer keys for Set A, B and C are released for the level 1 International Mathematical Olympiad exam and the participants can now justify their final results whenever it is available. The applicants who will favourably qualify the level 1 entrance exam only will be able to attend in the IMO level 2 exams which will be organised expectedly in February 2018. The participants can check their IMO results 2017 by visiting the official portal of Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) or else they can get their score card on their preferred and working mobile numbers through SMS facility. The score cards will be announced and it will be formed of the total score obtained by the applicants.

The qualifying criterion for the second level exam is mentioned below:

• Top 5% of the total attended applicants will be shortlisted according to their class-wise performance.
• Top 10 rankers will be preferred on the basis of their State and Class wise achievement.
• If 10 or more than 10 applicants from a class have taken part in the Olympiad and have scored 50% or more than 50% marks then in that case the class toppers will be preferred further.
•  If there are two or more than two candidates who have obtained the same marks then in that case their ranks will be rationalized on the basis of their marks obtained in their specific sections.
• Or, if in case there is a tie between two or more participants and they reside to the same section than in that case the marks obtained by the applicant in their former class will be preferred to rationalize their rank.
• And, if in case more than one or two participants obtained the same marks under both the above established criteria than the same rank will be provided to both the scoring participants.

To Download IMO Results 2017 the appeared applicants, have to enter their preferred roll numbers which they were provided while they were registering for the Olympiad exam in the following mentioned format which is represented here in the given example. For eg. - AN0001-04-001, where AN0001 will be your school code, 04 would be your class number and 001 would be your provided roll numbers. All the applicants are suggested to take a print out of their downloaded score card for their further future selection process. And to avoid the chance of misplacement or damage of your printed copy of their downloaded score card the participants can take 2-3 copies.

After, the entrance exam is held all the participants those who have appeared for SOF (Science Olympiad foundation) will be provided a Student Performance Report (SPR) which will be a thorough analysis of how the participants have attended in their International Mathematical level 1 Olympiad exam. This report will be given to enable the participants to know and also to understand their strengths and their weak areas which they have to improvise in complete terms. After IMO results 2017 are announced if in case the participants qualify in the level 1 score card then he/she has to prepare themselves for the second round i.e. level 2 exam.
