KVPY 2017 Result to be Announced by December

The KVPY 2017 result will be announced till the end of December or by the first week of January. KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana) is a written test which was held on 5th and 19th November, 2017. The candidates who will qualify in the KVPY 2017 result will be called up for the next round which is for the personal interview test. As, Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is a national level fellowship program organized by Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. After the result is released the candidates can go and check their results on the official website of Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana. The results for the aptitude test will be released by IISc (Indian Institute of Science) respectively for various streams like KVPY-SA, KVPY-SB and KVPY- SX.

The candidates who will successfully qualify the first round i.e. aptitude round they will be eligible to appear for the further round i.e. the interview round for the final selection. The weightage for the merit list is depended on the score of the candidates in both the rounds. As, the aptitude test weightage in the result list is 75% and the weightage of the interview round is 25 % in the merit list and the final result will come on the basis of aptitude and the interview round merit list. 

All the candidates can go and Check KVPY 2017 Result for all the streams and categories. The final result will be released after the Interview round is completed. And the candidates can go through their results by logging in themselves by using their application number and DOB (Date of Birth). The final result will include the name of the candidate who will be selected for the scholarship. Also, the candidates are advised to take a copy of their result for further preferences.

The last round which is the interview round will be held in between the middle of January, 2018 or in mid- February, 2018.  The candidates will get information about the interview through the email id they have provided while applying themselves for the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana exam, soon after the result is declared. The documents which are required to bring mandatorily by the candidates during the interview are: the application form, admit card of the aptitude test, original mark sheets, SC/ST Certificate (if applicable), medical certificate (Physically challenged candidates), self- appraisal form, study certificate form and teacher recommendation form.

In case, the candidate is not satisfied with his/her KVPY 2017 result, then in that situation the applicants can request for the re-evaluation of their OMR sheet. But for re- evaluation of their OMR sheet the candidates have to pay Rs. 1000/- via DD (demand draft) which should be in favor of the Registrar, IISc, Bangalore-12 payable at Bangalore. The candidates who will be selected for the fellowship program further will be available only for the candidates those who will fulfill the eligibility criteria for the exam. The main result will be available in PDF file and it will have roll no. of the candidate, Seat number, name and the Rank of the candidates who will be qualified for the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana exam 2017. The candidates who will fail to meet the KVPY 2017 result according to their category will not be considered qualified for the companionship program.

After, the list of shortlisted candidates for the Interview round, the candidates can appear for the interview which will be held tentatively from January to February 2018. And for appearing in the final personal interview round the candidates have to bring their interview call letter along with them. The centers required for the interview are – Allahabad, Delhi, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mohali, Bhopal, Mumbai, Pune, Trivandrum, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar.
