Unlike other gym routines and jogging, yoga is a bit more relaxed and peaceful. You need no gym equipment; just a yoga mat and proper outfit, then you’re good to go. Even if this exercise doesn’t require lifting weights, you will have to lift your own body. There are a lot of yoga poses that will challenge you to be in control of your balance to pull through.

Just like everything else, expect it to be hard during the first sessions, then as your body adjust or become flexible, you will experience inner peace, and less pain.

Less is More

We all want to stay fit and healthy, right? But most have no access nor means to afford regular gym visit, and end up doing nothing at all. The good thing about yoga is that you can do it by yourself --- no gym equipment needed at all. If you’re a beginner, it would be best to take a few yoga classes first, and when you’ve already learned the basic poses, and your body has adjusted and flexible enough, you can choose to continue yoga sessions at home; all by yourself. Less equipment, less fees only additional stamina, flexibility and focus.

Convenience

Yes, you can set up a gym at your home but you will definitely invest a lot as compared to doing yoga, a space for stretching is more than enough. The latter requires nothing but a free space where you can freely do twists and inhale enough air. Of course, this has to be a quiet spot, it can be in your garden or bedroom, as long as there’s less to no distraction.

Variety of Forms

Routinely exercise like squats, push ups, pull ups, lunges, crunches, might bore you in the long run. Doing these will even leave you tired and exhausted; whereas in yoga, you will only feel pain during the first sessions, the next will be satisfaction, complete relaxation and inner peace. You need not to do the same yoga poses every day, feel free to choose which one you want, as long as you do it properly. With all the yoga poses available, challenge yourself to do each one at a time, until you are fully in control of your body and mind.

Stretching and flexing your body may appear to be risky at first, that’s why beginners are advised to take yoga classes with trainers to help them learn the basic position properly. Start your journey to a healthier you and achieve your fitness goals by doing yoga today.
