If you haven’t heard, skipping meals is no longer acceptable. In fact, you can eat more and yet lose more weight. Follow these simple tips:
Get Enough Sleep
If you will ask famous Victoria Secret models about their diet regimen, they’ll probably say an 8 - 1o hour sleep a day. It is true that our body burn more calories and fats while we sleep, which actually makes our metabolism faster. Moreover, enough sleep keeps your brain focused, therefore you end up making right decision on set of food. The earlier you sleep, the lesser the chances of eating midnight snacks. Lastly, aside from weight loss, quality snooze also makes your skin look younger and healthier.
Eat Healthy Foods
It has been said over and over again to eat only what you can burn. There’s always another day waiting for you, there’s no reason to eat everything you want in a day. You need not to deprive yourself of good food, but with balance. Choose healthy set of food more than the not-so healthy ones (sweets, caffeine, junk food). Those can give you temporary happiness and cravings satisfaction, but how about the excessive fat it will leave you in the long run? Always be mindful of your choices.
Exercise More
No one is too busy to stretch a muscle or walk a few kilometers. Regardless of how busy you are with your career or social life, you can always allot a few minutes to an hour sweating those fats away. Instead of acquiring another membership card on a restaurant or coffee shop, why not enroll yourself in a 24 7 gym instead? This way, you can burn what you eat right away. No need to feel bad about the alarming number of calories and fats you accumulate after satisfying your cravings.
Train Your Mind
What you can think, you can achieve; all you need is discipline and determination. You can always say “No” to overeating or binge eating. You have to be in full control of your mind, and fight temptations that will surely bring you no good. Focus on what is beneficial for your health, and not on what can fulfill your stomach today.
Losing weight is easy, if you only know where to start and have enough courage to let go of what’s not healthy. You can still eat comfort food may it be chocolates, cakes, ice cream, burger and fries, etc -- but set your limit. Those food will still be available for the next days, months and even years, there’s no need to hurry and eat them all in a day.
