After the paper-based September 2015 MAT held on 6
September, 2015, aspirants get ready for the computer based September 2015 MAT
scheduled on 12 September, 2015.
Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is administered by All India Management Association (AIMA) and is held 4 times a year to screen candidates for various B-schools for MBA and allied programmes. Govt. of India, Ministry of HRD approved MAT as a national level test in 2003. September 2015 MAT provides yet another chance to the aspirants to get into a b-school and also to achieve a better score.
The paper based MAT 2015 followed the same
difficulty level and pattern as of May MAT. The paper comprised of 5
sections namely Language Comprehension,
Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis and
Sufficiency, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning, and Indian and global
Environment. Each section had 40 objective type questions, with a total of 200
questions and a total time of 150mins.
The language Comprehension section and the Intelligence and Critical Reasoning section were moderately difficult while the Mathematical skill section was tough. The Data Analysis section was quite a time taking. Further, Indian and Global Environment section is not considered for the final percentile score. The candidates can expect a similar kind of pattern for the online based MAT and can easily practice for the test through May MAT solved papers.
The expected result date is last week of December. There are more than 600 b-schools that accept MAT score, which is valid for a year. Each b-school follows its own selection process while the score is considered as the qualifying factor. Also, one gets to choose 5 management institutes beforehand where their September MAT scores are to be sent without any additional fee.
