PGDAV College - An eminent college of Delhi University

Set up in 1957, it is one of the apex colleges of the University of Delhi and is a part of its South Campus. It is known for its high quality of teaching and it offers courses at both Undergraduate and Post Graduate levels in different subjects. Situated in a prime area in Nehru Nagar (close VIMHANS Hospital) on the Ring Road, it has good connectivity from all parts of Delhi, Noida and Faridabad.
PGDAV College was established on 17 August 1957 by the D.A.V College Managing Committee, one of the greatest educational trusts in the country. It began functioning in a small partition of D.A.V school on Chitragupta Road in Paharganj with a solitary digit number of educators and twofold digit number of students. Advancing bit by bit in 1971, the college moved to its own particular premises at a prime area between Lajpat Nagar and Ashram on the primary ring street.
