What to do in a Photography Studio?

There are so many reasons on why trying a Photography Studio is a great choice.  The main purpose and advantage in shooting in the studio is having to operate the equipment and to control the lights in your photographs.  It’s also a great way to gain experience without buying the actual equipment.  Because we all know that photography equipments is a little bit pricey, no I mean yes it’s really a pain in the pocket.

If you’re interested in studio photography, renting a studio is a great way to start.  There are some tips that you should know before firing that camera.

• Setting up the lights
  

If you’re new to this, setting up the lights is the hardest part since you’ll be doing this in trial error and it also a time consuming.  If you’re doing this for quite some time then it’s an easy task for you.  If you’re just a beginner for this, my advice for you is to have an actual photography light lessons or you can also find lessons thru online.  But you know that experience is a best teacher.  So setting up the lights is a learning process.  You can experiment to have a good look of it in your photographs.

• The Model
  

My first models are my friends.  They volunteer to be my model when I am still practicing setting up the studio lights.  At first, you can have your sisters, friends, someone who can do the job in free.  It will also help to boost your confidence and skills since you know your model.  And remember that booking a professional model cost a dime.

• Team effort
  

It’s always better to have someone to do the work.  It will not only share the cost, but you will also have someone to help you in adjusting the lights and setting up the shoot.  It’s like having an extra 2 hands.  Bring a photographer friend, and you can also learn some techniques during the shoot.

Of all this tips, you should make sure that first of all you must love what you’re doing and enjoying it. Because having a photo shoot eats a lot of your time.  Take a shoot and have fun!
