Tips in Building Modeling Portfolio in Dubai

When ordering food in an unknown restaurant the first thing I do is ask for their menu.  I usually order foods based on the pictures shown in the menu.  It’s better for me to choose which one I want to eat based on the pictures in the menu.  Because pictures are the first thing your potential customers look at. You can catch their attention by posting delicious and mouthwatering foods.  

Same thing goes in the Modeling Industry; models should be aware that photos taken by phone or at home are usually not taken very seriously.  There are some Modeling Agencies in Dubai that provides free modeling photo shoot as long as you will join the company as a freelance model.  But mostly if you want your own modeling portfolio, photography studio provides cheap modeling portfolio package.  Just choose which one can give you the quality with the great value.

It is very important to send to our client’s professional images and high quality pictures. This will make you look more attractive and very appealing to clients.  Here are some tips on how you build your own portfolio:

1.  How many photos do I have to put in the portfolio?

The answer is just a few but “Great” Photos.  Meaning, you should ask someone with critical eye, your friend, your colleague, your neighbors or anyone to choose the best pictures of you. (don’t ask your mom, she will choose all of it.)  Disregard all the bad pictures and keep the good ones.

2.  Can I include black and white pictures?

Absolutely.  Remember that Black and white is classy.  And, it will not go out of style. 

3.  Do I have to wear sexy lingerie dress?

What can I say about this is, wear something that you’re comfortable modeling with.  If you’re not into sexy dresses then don’t wear it.  If you’re comfortable with it, then play with it.  What important here is the poses you make and how comfortable, confident and good looking you are in the photos.
