As a child grows, the two primary factors that shape his future and personality are home and school. Dividing his time between the two the impression of teachers is equally impactful as that of parents. But for years kids have disliked school, mainly because they don’t get the pampering and attention available at home and then there are stern methods deployed to maintain discipline. Studying is also something most kids won’t prefer to do as the teaching methods aren’t exactly what they love. This can’t be avoided either to keep the decorum in place, but there needs to be a revamping in the ways schools work so as to make that a more fun place for the kids.

This is happening in most parts of the world. The pressure on kids is being reduced. No more carrying that heavy backpack and daily tests to make kids anxious and scared all the time. Many international day schools in Delhi or in fact the entire NCR have deployed fun activities to make children love school. Curriculums are made with out of the box thinking and ideas for fun activities are discussed regularly. The aim is to adapt a holistic method of teaching that helps the kid grow as well as learn with fun.

The pressure exerted by traditional methods of teaching and schooling are slowly being depleted and replaced with better and more disruptive techniques. Following are some of the methods that turn school into a place kids absolutely adore:

Out of Curricular Activities:
Extra curricular activities are known to be the best recreational methods. But what if they could be used as something to impart knowledge as well. They can involve fun field trips or seminars that are interesting and full of information. Kids’ talents can be found and honed in due time to help him succeed in future.

New teaching methods
A teacher, however good, does tend to get mundane after a while because he will himself get taken over by banality. Therefore new techniques such as presentations, online videos, cartoons etc are now more sought after ways of teaching in most of the day care schools in Noida. They also work better while helping to learn.

Competition
Urging healthy competition among kids at an early stage is a good way to make them more interested in studying. They are eager to leave a mark at that stage of life and this is the perfect way to tap into that potential.
