Parents have a wide variety of options these days when it comes to providing education to their kids. A lot of options usually lead to a lot of confusion. Homeschooling, boarding or day schooling, it’s difficult to decide, what is best suited for their child.

The basic concept behind homeschooling is doing away from the formal school setting and makes the child learn in a comparatively familiar environment. In earlier times homeschooling was really popular in the rural areas as the resources for education were limited over there but it has gained quite a popularity in the recent times as well.

Homeschooling gives your child a familiar environment to learn but it can be physical emotionally and financially daunting task for the parents. Kids also miss the chance of being with kids of same age group; this may lead to a lack of social skills and interaction with other kids.

A boarding school has several advantages such as they give  an opportunity to interact with the students of their same age group and that’s how they learn the values of sharing and learning from their counterparts. It can be emotionally daunting for the child in the first few months but after the period of six months, they are usually able to adjust to it. The only disadvantage with this module is that kids stay away from their parents for a long time, which may make them detached to the family. 

This is one of the oldest modules for education. The quality of education you get in day schooling depend on the kind of school your child is attending. The only problem with this set of the education system is that your child is engaged in multiple environments, which may confuse him or her as some children are not able to strike a balance between home and school.
