Use of pig feed additives

Feed additives have functions of improving nutritional feed, enhancing feed utilization, promoting animal growth and prevent disease, reducing nutrient feed material losses and so on during storage. So that the feed additive in feed is an indispensable part. There are many types of pig feed additives, some of them are for nutrition promotion, such as amino acids, inorganic salts, trace elements, vitamins etc.; Some of them(non-nutritive additives) are animal health, animal growth promotion or meet the special requirements of feed processing, such as growth agents , antioxidant, fungicide. In addition, feed product that related to drug prevention and treatment of diseases, known as Feed pharmaceutical Additive.
And Methionine is a kind of amino acid, it’s essential in promoting nutrition, health and growth of pig. It’s also known as the first limiting amino acid in poultry feed. But we must use methionine in right way, better not be excessive. Normally, the percentage is around 0.5% in 1 tons of pig feed.
