School is the most important part of any individual's life, more important than perhaps any other phase in life. A child goes through some of the most significant changes during the school years, and these changes and life experiences stay with the person throughout their life. A child spends more than a decade in a school and goes from a tender age of four or five, to the brink of adulthood, that is, eighteen. This amount of time, is a long one, and thus makes the school one of the most influential places for a child, apart from one's home. That is why, parents take such care while selecting a school for their child, since it can affect what kind a person they will be in the future.

There is no dearth of private, international or a public school in Noida, Delhi, Gurgaon. There are different schools, that have different teaching methods and how to educate the students. And parents can choose the one they most prefer and the one that fits their needs.

However, the article is not about choosing the right school for the kid. Instead, the topic here, is about how a school can create a confident and responsible person, out of each student. These two traits are extremely important, since one has to use them, in almost every situation in life, whether professional or personal.

People, often overlook the fact, that a school does not have a duty to just teach the students about history and science and mathematics and English. But the school also contributes towards building the actual character of the student, which they will apply in their daily life. Learning to be confident of one's skills and talents is taught, when awards and recognition is given to students who have done something extraordinary. Also, learning to take responsibility of one's action is too taught, by handing one important tasks or making them accept their mistake. So, here are some tips on how schools can work, towards instilling them in their students:

1. Give the Student Important Duties:
This is one of the sure fire way, for a student to learn both confidence and responsibility in one move. Especially when wanting to build self- esteem and confidence, handing a student a position of authority can help them understand their talents. Making them a monitor, or giving a certain task, say collecting the homework, will greatly work towards giving them a sense of reponsibility and make them a confident person.

2. Hold Events:
A day school in Noida or Delhi, can arrange an intra- school competition and student should be made to participate. One might not voluntarily do it, but with appropriate encouragement from teachers, a student, could learn the confidence to put their skills on display.

3. Reward Achievements:
This point, in a way, combines the earlier points and is perhaps the most important one. After the student has taken the risk and put themselves out there, it is essential, that there efforts be acknowledged and rewarded properly.
