When most people think of boarding high schools, they probably conjure up images of kids in formal dress in England or some other far away place. As with most skate parks around the country, the skate park at Wasatch Academy is designed to accommodate several different sports. Of course the skate park is designed for skateboards to be used, but its design is exceptionally well planned. The academy also ensured that the park could accommodate students who enjoy the skill it takes to maneuver a BMX bike through the park. 

While many boarding high schools offer only traditional sports, skate boarding and BMX biking are just two of the extracurricular activities available to students at Wasatch Academy. By making a myriad of activities available, this not only helps students feel more accepted, but it also allows students to lead a balanced life and explore new interests.
