“The Daddy of “em All” is a rodeo in Cheyenne, Wyoming that happens every year the last full week of July. It is the biggest outdoor rodeo in the world. With events all day and into the night for nine days straight, it is impossible to get bored during the frontier days. The days are filled with rodeo competitions, and at night there are concerts featuring some of the best country singers of today.

Rodeo Houston

Everything is bigger in Texas, and this includes their rodeos. Similar to the Frontier Days, Rodeo Houston brings in all the best artists to perform.  

Pendleton Round-Up

This rodeo is in Pendleton, a small town in the state of Oregon. This rodeo is one of the best in the world, and has been around since 1910. This rodeo should be on the bucket list of private boarding schools everywhere. After all, Pendleton is considered “the real west” by locals.

Ellensburg Rodeo

Who knew the Pacific Northwest had such a good rodeo scene? With private boarding schools getting ready to start back up, this is the perfect place to start a road trip Labor Day weekend with the Pendleton Round-Up starting soon after. The Ellensburg rodeo has been around for 75 years now and has over 600 contestants.

Yellowstone Rodeo

Want to go to a rodeo while also visiting one of the most famous National Parks in America at the same time? Well then this is the rodeo for you. Unlike the other rodeos, the Yellowstone Rodeo lasts three months and is just a nighttime event — giving rodeo goers the opportunity to spend the day exploring the beautiful national park.
