School is the second home of the child. After spending four five years at home, it is the second place where they spend most of their time. On an average, kids spend about six to seven hours in school every day. They get to meet new people and learn so much about life and other things around them. It would not be wrong to say that school give kids the right foundation and helps them mould into responsible citizens. It plays a very important role in shaping their personality. It is therefore important for parents to carefully choose a school, which they think would be perfect for their child.

Schools are of different types. They are categorized into public and private schools, depending on the authorities governing them. Then there are day care schools, boarding schools, international schools, all offering different facilities for the students. Parents must carefully analyse the need of their child and then choose a school for him/her accordingly. For instance, if both the parents are working, then sending child to a day boarding school would be the best option. This is because here kids are allowed to stay for extra hours in school, till evening. In these extra hours, kids are encouraged to participate in extra-curricular activities and games of their choice. Some schools also conduct remedial classes in these extra hours, where kids can clear their doubts in subjects they are weak in. There are day schools for kids in Delhi/Noida that also have facilities to conduct various sports activities within the school premises, in the evening. This gives students an excellent opportunity to participate in a sport of their choice and show their hidden talent.
There are a few things that parents must keep in mind when selecting a school.

School infrastructure and teaching staff- this is one of the most important things to consider. Parents must do an inspection themselves to see the school building, playground, classrooms, desks, chairs and other facilities available at the school. Presence of a well-trained and experienced teaching staff is also very important.

Affiliation and recognition of the school: it is very important to see whether the school is recognized from a government authority or not.

Academic record of the previous years: Parents must also see the academic record and pass out percentage of the students. It gives a good idea of the teaching methods used by the teaching staff. There are international schools in Noida that have an excellent record in terms of pass-percentage of students every year. Parents can choose one of these schools to make sure that their kids get the best education.
Keep the above things in mind and it will help in selecting the right school for your child.
