Microsoft Corporation reported that it will be announcing the release of Cortana, its digital assistant in three major regions of the world, namely Japan Australia and India. The software giant has initialized the project in India with the personal assistant compatible with one language only, that is English, but news suggests that the firm is also working really aggressively in order to make it work with other languages as well, with the most attention given to Hindi. For users of the operating system of the tech and software giant, the digital robot feature has been made available for an optional download, especially for the people living in Canada, Australia and Japan.

Furthermore, Microsoft business will be giving the update to all the users who have used the Windows Insider program in the past and have taken an active part in it. According to a report, it is being seen that the software company is also making sure this feature is accessed by the people living in Quebec, which is a place in Canada but the people there are mostly seen speaking French. Once an update has been made on the app, the Cortana assistant will be able to speak in different languages as well, in accordance with the different dialects used in the region where is it being used.

This preview of Cortana has still not been made public and is only being offered to users who are using the Windows 10 upgrade presently. So far, the firm has not spoken about any plans to offer the digital assistant to users who are not using the new Windows and are still using older versions of the operating system.

Analysts believe that if Microsoft management plans to break into the digital assistance industry and make a mark of its own, it needs to find ways to make Cortana as widely available as Siri and Google Now and not restrict its usage to only a few people. The final preview of the digital app has turned out to be quite useful for many new users and the comments it has so far received have turned out to quite towards the positive side. Users are of the opinion that the final product that they have been offered has proved itself to be worthy of being on the top in the artificial intelligence industry which is something that the software giant has just been looking for.

Analysts also believe that if everything goes according to plan and Microsoft ends up pulling off the huge project, there is a big chance for the firm to receive massive success in the near future.
