BlackBery Might Pave Its Way To Redemption
BlackBerry smartphones might change the game for the company.
The chief executive officer of T-Mobile, Mr. John Legere is optimistic about BlackBerry Ltd. where he believes that the company makes a comeback. The CEO while giving an interview to CNET answered a few short questions where Mike Sievert - Chief Operating Officer and John Legere talked about word association on news sites.
The positive comments observed from Mr. John Legere are a major game changer for T-Mobile US Inc. since the company broke its ties with BBRY earlier in 2014. The hatred between the two companies aroused when T-Mobile emailed a campaign to consumers where they asked them to ditch the BlackBerry products for the Apple iPhone. Many believed that the campaign weas actually very low of T-Mobile and to voice its detest the company announced that it will not renew its contract with the wireless communication giant. So since April 2014, T-Mobile was not retailing BlackBerry smartphones.
After a year, the company finally revealed that they will now stock the BlackBerry Classic smartphone at their retail stores. The reason why T-Mobile was so interested in stocking the smartphone was that it targeted the corporate consumers and other rivals in the same business were retailing these smartphones. So the company not only wanted to avail the opportunity nut also wanted to promote its 9.0 initiative. This platform will enable individual and corporate consumers to avail similar pricing. The corporate strategies deployed by both the companies were initially different; however the companies have finally aligned them now.
BlackBerry now wishes to pave its way to redemption. The company recently came up with BlackBerry Priv- which is an Android smartphone that focuses on privacy that is being retailed by competitors like Sprint, AT&T and Verizon. On the other hand, it is also believed that the company is working on another Android smartphone namely BlackBerry Vienna which will boast of a stationary keyboard as the core highlight. In contrast to Priv, the keyboard in Vienna will be stationary. The idea is to rejuvenate the concept of a keyboard in smartphones.
At this point of time, T-Mobile does not retail Priv but the company now wishes to do that soon. This indicates that the company has now cleared all the mishaps that caused hindrances between the two companies. So now the BlackBerry devices will be launched on all platforms when they are officially released.
This is actually a great news for the company since now they will be able to retail across all platforms.
