Microsoft Bing Provides Top Notch iOS Experience
Microsoft has launched several features for Bing that will enrich Apple user experience.Microsoft Corporation has finally revealed its Windows 10 Mobile Build to intrigue the insiders and is now targeting Apple’s iOS. The company has come up with a unique way that has actually redefined the experience of Apple iPhone users when using Microsoft’s search engine, Bing. The revamped version of Bing seeks to streamline the focus on Quick Interactions along with Application Delivery.
Almost all companies belonging to the tech sector have realized the need to streamline the search related services particularly on smartphones. So far, the desktop versions were being used that were tweaked in a manner to be made compatible on handsets. So Microsoft is now the only successful company that has come up with changes to its search engine that now focuses on consumer interaction whilst using search engine.
The company introduced a search button present inside the app that acts like a “focal point” whilst performing any search. Similar to other search related platforms, it also caters to intriguing options like “restaurants near me”. The home screen of the application has been equipped with quick tap options that are designed based on preferences. This encompasses a “Near Me” feature, which will show all the nearby options regarding what will be close to get hands on a freshly brewed cup of coffee.
The app also offers quick links that provides the users with a link of the recent movies shown in the theatres. The fact is that the app caters to maps and images. Moreover, the users can get access to breaking news when they are browsing through the app. This clearly indicates that the company has tried its best to enrich this Microsoft product.
“The reality is that we don’t think about it that way. We really do think of Cortana as your digital personal assistant. Reaching into search, and reaching into Bing to provide great answers to questions, that’s a big part of her promise, but it’s certainly not her only promise,” stated Mr. Ryan Gavin, the general manager of search at Microsoft, as a response when analyst thought that the launch of Cortana will further enrich the Bing experience.
At this point of time, the company has given a new horizon to Apple users to explore for their searches. Google now needs to improve and improvise if it does not want MSFT to take away their niche search market on Apple products. This is high time that the search engine giant fights back.
