Garmin is all set to launch two brand new smartwatches (Venu Sq and Venu Sq Music Edition) in the market. Both the watches look very similar and have lots of amazing features in them like GPS tracking, heart rate monitoring, Oxygen level monitoring, sleep, and stress tracking, etc. However, if you buy Venu Sq Music Edition, then you can use it for streaming your favorite song or music without using your smartphone from Spotify, Deezer, and Amazon Music. It is a fantastic feature and can be very useful for someone who likes to listen to music while running.

Venu Sq is cheaper than Venu Sq Music Edition and comes with a price tag of $199.  The smartwatch features a 1.3-inch LCD display (Gorilla Glass 3), a couple of buttons, and a silicone strap on it and comes with a battery backup of 6 days.  It also supports notifications, which means you can use it to see your phone’s notifications. However, if you are an Android user, you can also use the smartwatch to send messages without even touching your mobile.

Venu Sq Music Edition is more expensive than Venu Sq and comes with a price tag of $ 249. The smartwatch features a 1.3-inch LCD display (Gorilla Glass 3), a pair of buttons, and a silicone strap on it and comes with a battery backup of 6 days. Additionally, you can use the smartwatch for streaming music from Spotify, Deezer, and Amazon Music. You can also store up to 500 songs in the smartwatch.

Price and Release Date

Both the smartwatches are available for purchase from today, and you can buy them by visiting the official website of Garmin or through Amazon. Venu Sq Comes with a price tag of $199, whereas Venu Sq Music Edition comes with a price tag of $249.

Which One Should You Buy?

Both watches are quite similar in terms of design and features. The only difference between both the smartwatches is that Venu Sq Music Edition comes with music and Wi-Fi support, which means you can connect it with Wi-Fi and play music on it. So, if you want a smartwatch that can play music and connect to Wi-Fi too, then Venu Sq Music Edition is a perfect pick for you. However, if you are looking for a cheap yet powerful smartwatch, then Venu Sq is a perfect pick for you.

Our View

Venu Sq Music Edition appears to be a better option than Venu sq to us because it comes with music and Wi-Fi support. But that does not mean that Venu Sq is not a useful smartwatch. It is a phenomenal smartwatch and has lots of amazing features in it. However, if we compare both the watches, then Venu Sq Music Edition clearly beats Venu Sq. Besides this, the price difference between both smartwatches is not that big too. So, if you are thinking of buying any of these two smartwatches, then we suggest that you should buy Venu sq Music Edition.
