Easy Ways to Combat Summer Ailments

Summer is here and the sun is shining with all its glory. It is that time of the year when we refrain from staying out even for a bit. But with the daily routine, it gets difficult to avoid this scorching heat. Drinking sufficient amount of water will make you feel fresh as well as remove toxins from your body to a greater extent.

Protect your skin: Body heat is one of the main causes that lead to various diseases. To protect your skin from skin issues and sun exposure, apply sunscreen and wear protective clothing. Using a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 15-30 in every two hours would let you do away with harmful sun rays. Try to wear full-sleeved clothing as much as possible.

Also use laundry additives to give your clothes an extra protective layer of ultraviolet protection for a certain number of washings or special sun-protective clothing, which is specifically designed to block ultraviolet rays.

Wash your hands: This might sound so basic but is very important to keep oneself healthy. Your hands are vulnerable to zillions of germs as you come in contact with lots of objects. Take proper sleep: Taking proper sleep for at least 8 hours is highly recommended. Keep yourself away from mobile phones and other electrical gadgets at least an hour before going to sleep as the rays emitted from these gadgets are harmful and cause disturbance in sleep. .
