Cyclists should be subjected to normal traffic rules

Cycle is considered to be one of the easiest mode of transport to cover a short distance. It has been used by people since ages. Earlier there hardly used to be any type of road traffic but with the invention of cars ,buses and motorbikes, there has been a drastic increase in traffic. If we take a look at the metro cities then we can figure out that there is more traffic found as compared to smaller cities. So as far as safety measures are concerned then cyclists whether the daily users or the professionals, traffics rules should be applied to them as well. It is for their betterment.

It has been observed that the cyclists pass through same traffic and so they should follow the same traffic rules unlike the other motorists. Nowadays there are more risk of accidents caused due to non adherence of traffic rules. In such case if the cyclists are allowed to break these rules then it will lead to chaos thereby making it even more manageable for everyone behind the wheels. Apart from this it is quite clear that if the cyclists want to share the road then they have to follow the traffic rules like other people out there. Although there are very less locations available for cyclists so most of the time they have to use the same common road. Bicycles on road can be a danger to drivers as well. If cyclists do not follow the traffic rules then they might hit the other vehicles by mistake and cause damage to it. So to avoid such type of obstacles the cyclists should be careful enough.

If you compare cycles to cars and other bigger vehicles then you can figure out that they are smaller and they travel at a slower rate. If cyclists do not follow any type of traffic rules then unnecessarily the bigger vehicles have to stop midway to avoid any type of mishap. So if the cyclists are subjected to traffic rules and regulations then if they fail to obey them they should be subjected to high fines as well. So for the betterment of people cyclists should also obey traffic rules along with others. This will only help to improve the traffic of an overly populated city.
