Batsman is considered to be an equally important part of a particular match. If a team decides to bat then not only other players are responsible for the win but more importantly it is on the batsman that how he delivers a shot. If we have a deep look in the ten world cups that have been played then we can figure out that out of ten only two batsmen were such who apart from having a highest impact were also the highest scorers. Most of the time it had been observed that it is not because of the batsman that a team wins a particular game. Impact could be good as well as bad. Some batsmen had an overall good impact by delivering great performances. So in today's articles we will find out few of the batsmen who a highest impact in those ten world cups played so far.

1)Mathew Hayden

Hayden has been considered both conventionally and impact wise good for his team. He has mostly helped Australia win most of the matches. He had always been very consistent and had tried to come up with flying colours in most of the matches played by him. There are instances that prove this scenario very well. He helped Australia to score 377 against South Africa thereby smashing 101 off 68 balls thus winning the match by 83 runs. Not only this but he also made Australia won by 215 runs against New Zealand thereby smashing 103 off 100 balls. He had just failed once in out of those 10 matches in which he had batted. There are other scenarios as well that proves that he had been a great impact on his team's win.

2)Sachin Tendulkar

Always considered God of cricket ,he has proved to be a great impact on his team thus every time creating a history thereby making his team win every possible match. Tendulkar scored 482 runs at an average of 53 and was declared the highest impact batsman of the tournament. He smashed 120 off 115 balls against Engalnd. Not only this he also scored 53 off 68 deliveries chasing 260 against Australia in quarter finals. His overwhelming performance has always been proved to be a great support for his team.

3)Steve Waugh

He is yet another dynamic batman who has proved his spirit through his genuine hardwork. His overwhelming performance came into limelight in 1999 World Cup when he was declared the highest impact batsman for scoring a high proportion for his team even under intense pressure. He also smashed 120 off 110 balls against South Africa. Not only this but he also gave a tournament defining performance in the semi finals thereby smashing 56 off 76 balls.
