Hansi Flick, who is currently managing the Bayern Munich team, signs an extended deal with the club, valid up to 2023. On Friday, the club stated that Hansi, who took the position as interim coach at the beginning of this season, has now become a permanent asset of the team.

While talking to media, the owner of Bayern Munich Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, said that the club is pleased with the performance of Hansi Flick. He further stated that under his management, the team is showing excellent development and has been playing some skillful football, which we can see in the form of results. He says that they are the only ones still competing in all three of the platforms.

Currently, Bayern Munich is at the top of the Bundesliga tier, in the semis of the German Cup, and competing in the Champions League’s Round of 16.

Hansi came in as a replacement of Nico Kovac in November and, after getting the things in line, crafted the domestic side of the club into the dominating one, which put them confidently back into the race of consistently winning the league title for the eighth time.

The 55-years-old is an ex-player of the Bayern Munich, former assistant coach of the German team Joachim Loew (2006-2014) and the previous sports director of the national federation. Read also about Stefan Ilsanker's biography here.

Germany International put the team back at the track in only a few weeks of hard work, after the club became a little bit rusty under the management of Kovac at the start of the season and almost giving up the title which they have been claiming for the last ten straight years.

Hansi states that he is thrilled to do the work along with his coaching squad and the players; plus, he is positive that by working together, they can achieve a lot.
