Angelina Jolie gave away unknown amount to kids' lemonade stand

An American superstar Angelina Jolie gave away unknown amount of money to two British kids. Those kids were holding a lemonade stand to raise money to help the Yemen people who are going through inhumane war. Both children Ayaan Moosa and Mikaeel Ishaa from east London are Best Friends and go to school together. They decided to hold a stand to collect funds in the month of July after realizing the crisis in Yemen.

While talking to the CNN, one of the kids’ father Shakil Moosa said the Hollywood star made contact with the family a few weeks ago via an agent and offered to give money to the stall. The money has been transferred to their bank account this weekend. Along with the funds, the US actress also sent a letter to the kids, which they posted on their social media account. In the letter she praised the effort by the boys and also apologized that she couldn’t made it to them in-person.

Shakil thanked her and called her one of the best personalities on earth. The kids also thanked Jolie n their Instagram video for her contribution in raising the funds. They also showed their desire to sell her a lemonade whenever they get a chance to see her.

Angelina Jolie, UNHR’s one of the notable representatives, previously expressed her feelings towards conflict and poverty in Yemen, which has been causing quite unrest in the world for last few decades. The years of civil war gave rise to Houthi rebels in 2015 against the worldwide renowned government, supported by USA and Saudi Arabia, killing about 112,000 people.

As per some estimate, half of the middle eastern population is on verge of famine with millions of people malnourished and hungry. Yemen is also going through different diseases with thousands of people infected from Cholera.
