Breaking The Ties That Bind

What I see are good people who need to create an income stream. They needed it yesterday. They're up against it and genuinely need immediate relief. I was there. I know how that feels. I'm familiar with that feeling of dread deep in the gut, that constant worry about paying the bills. Forget about paying them on time. I'm talking about just catching them up to avoid a disconnect. I know how it feels to lose sleep and to dread the dawn of a new day because that means the bill collectors are at work again and that today might be the day the electric company drives up to turn off the power....again. It hurts. It is a pain like no other.
These days that pain for me is gone, but it exists for so many others that I see on various forums and this causes me a new type of pain. The pain of remembrance and an empathy for what others are going through. I want to reach through the computer screen, hug them and then tell them that things can get better. They can get better quickly, but you have to be willing to do something that is hard.
You have to be willing to let go and try something different.
Remember the old definition of insanity? Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result? How many of you are doing that right now? Let's see if I have it right. You woke up this morning and fired up the computer. You checked your various programs to see if you had any new referrals. You did not. Then you vowed that today would be different. Today you would work hard to "drive traffic" to a link. You started surfing a traffic exchange and waiting for the timer to expire and move on to the next one. After about thirty minutes you've qualified for perhaps 20 clicks on your link....by people who are doing the same thing you are. Waiting for the timer to expire. Finally, you tired of this and began to surf the web for a new program, the goose that will finally lay that golden egg. Later you gathered with your friends on Skype to talk about how great it will be when the dream comes true. At some point the day will end, just like the days before it, and you'll be no closer to financial freedom than you were yesterday. The anxiety and tension will once again keep you awake.
It is so hard to let go of what isn't working because sometimes it is the only thing we have left to cling to. What a cruel joke that is. But you can do it, and my business as a Life Coach is helping folks do that. Please don't misunderstand. Nothing I can say will spit out $100 bills. I wish I could. But for those who will listen I want to say this: it is possible for you to create that online income if you will just become willing to abandon what doesn't work and keep refining your approach until you succeed.
In the days ahead I'll be posting articles to help you do just that. I hope you will take time to read them.
