How Professional are You?
I hate to be deceived,
And I have been bamboozled!

I had a message to call a gentleman, he had questions
about NPN.
I returned the phone call and started a chit chat
conversation with him.
He first started out asking me about iKarma and that lead
to talking about
APSense. He very lightly touched on the subject of how long I had been with NPN.
I was beginning to wonder where this was all leading but I continued to listen.

He then asked me if people ever said "No Thanks" to
me.

I told him many but that was OK.
He then went onto ask if I ever removed any of them from my list. I told him I saw no
reason to remove them. Until they ASKED to be REMOVED they could remain
there.

He proceeded to explain to me that he was sure many of
those people were sending
my emails straight to SPAM or the TRASH folder.

I was wondering where this was all going but I didn't want
to rush the talker.
He said "don't you think that they would be better served if you offered them a
"Professional Referral" ?

I didn't know this man from the man in the moon, yet I was
suppose to pass on my leads to him

What's really hilarious is that just a couple of years ago if you put either Jaguar or Predator marketing into a search engine you got pages of hits for both. finding them today is like pulling teeth unless you're looking for the scam reports.

@Cindy I did a little hunting today and they officially 'suspended indefinitely' everything in Feb of 2009.
Alrighty then. My stupid unprofessional brain translates that as "we closed up shop but don't want to admit we closed up shop so we'll try to make it look like we're still in business but just taking a sabbatical."

@Cheryl I knew many people that were in that. One asked me if I was "closer" After I was done cracking up at the thought of me being a CLOSER I polity told her that would not describe me, sorry.

Cindy whenever we deal with people we all run across all different types of personalities and issues but we cannot allow them to upset us. When people come to you like this it's okay just cut them short & moved on because their mind is in another direction.

Cindy,nothing surprises me anymore. One will always be tested by people who are selfish and devious. Usually it happens when you least expect it. Trust your intuition, know the difference, and just smile. Thanks for sharing your experience. It definitely was a hoot!

@Cindy I haven seen or heard anything about them in about 18 months or so. But when you consider the absolute scam behind them ($5000 investment if you wanted full access to the program and the garbage 'marketing' course) it's no wonder.
They ignored repeated requests to take me off of their list so they did get reported by me for harassing phone calls.

Where do these people come from? I am unprofessional and can I add stupid too? Back when Jaguar Marketing was annoying the heck out of everyone, I had one of their 'affiliates' (Read idiot who had shelled out $5000 and was desperately trying to get it back) Give me this spiel about how anyone who didn't jump on it was "stupid" he then ended with "You aren't stupid are you?"
I replied "Yes I'm too stupid to flush $5000 down the drain." and hung up.

Over the years, I have had many - shall we say - "strange" and frustrating phone calls (and now emails) and they won't soon disappear as long as these types of people are around. This reminds me of the old saying "if there is a will - there is a way"? Except this saying was meant to enable people to forge ahead in a positive, productive and ethical manner.
People will always come up with some way or other to benefit only themselves which in the long run serves no purpose except "selfishness
