Patience is also another virtue. If you present an opportunity to someone and they dont respond immediately, dont bombard them with e-mails and phone calls. All this will do is really p.iss them off, and you'll lose the prospect. I see this all the time. I'll join a website or program, then be bombarded with e-mails. That leaves such a bad taste in my mouth that I dont want to do business with them anymore. If someone is interested, they will call you back or contact you in time.

Just today I spoke with a lead and listening became really important on this call. She was not ready to join the company at this time because of sudden personal problems.
