An Identity theft attempt.

Bj aka Bill Brown Magnate I   Hosting and Backup Service...
Here we have a typical Identity theft attempt trying to use egold as the excuse. The email has been forwarded to egold and then deleted from my system, without reply.

I am leaving the perpetrators email intact and I seriously hope that the spambots pick it up and spam the crap out of it.

Points to pick up on.

The email address has nothing to do with egold.

Too bad someone can't come up with a virus to target these e-mail ID thieves and crash their computers every time they send this junk. I got something along these lines last year some time. I'm really happy that they went to the effort of blocking a non existent account.

Wow that is quite some heavy information they are asking for too! Even egold wouldnt dare ask for all that!!

Hi BJ,

I also received that one, and guessed it was fake. When I checked the
source email, it was obviously not egold, but have reported it to them.
Hope that does some good. They are really getting pushy with these
phishing attempts.

Is it just me or are these getting worse lately?
And this one isn't even particularly good.

Hi Bj
Also received the same one but picked it up for what it was .
What amazes me always about these fraudsters, is the amount
of detail they go into to obtain one's info and always that certain
"ring of truth".
Amazing but scary!!!!!but thanks for the warning anyhow.

Hello: It has been a long time since I have been on this system; ApSense.

I have also gotten these scam notices, one thing that has tripped up the
scammers is: They have sent the notice to several E-mail boxes I own.
When I receive a notice about "Secured Transactions" address to an
E-mail box for which I do not have the account listed, THE BELLS GO OFF.

As a precaution, I always check the pathway for the link and see if it goes
to the company in question. If it appears to, I use a link that is different.
Instead of using the PayPal Link, I contact "PayPal security or customer service",
