You can find this new feature by going to your account and clicking on the Promoting Materials tab.
It's great for showing your contents from apsense ANYWHERE and anyone who signs up for apsense from this widget, will join as your referral and be added to your network. We will make an official post about it soon. This is just a quick heads up about it. Lynn

Bj, of course I need help. Don't ever ask if I need help. I would like very much to know how to set up a widget on my abc site. You don't have to help me right now though. Have to go outside and feed my animals. Maybe tomorrow sometime. Thanks, Margie Aug 23rd 2007 15:27 |

Okay I tried to insert the widget into my Hillynut.com page and it froze the page when I saved and hit preview. I put in with my html editor. what did I do wrong? Aug 23rd 2007 15:37 |

if you only went to preview it before uploading it you security software could prevent javascript from showing Aug 23rd 2007 15:47 |

OK, I have it installed on one of my sites and it works well. Would it be possible to have the "shadow" image around the border as "transparent gif" ? Aug 23rd 2007 16:00 |

Collette, Since Bj offered support on this, I will leave your question for him :). All I can tell you is that I added it to a forum portal panel, I just put the code in and was good to go. I am sure Bj will be able to help you. Eric, I have already brought up the idea of being able to customize them to blend with different websites. The answer was we currently have one style, but this is not to rule out added features in the future. Lynn Aug 23rd 2007 16:14 |

Hi Collette To add to Erics reply also make sure you have Java enabled or it will not show. Aug 23rd 2007 16:32 |

Hi Margie Go to “My account†Tab Then to “Promoting Materials†You will then see “Website Widget†Use the little radio buttons to select what you want to show then click on Generate code. It will show you how it looks. You can play with the radio buttons combinations to see the different ways it will look. Don’t forget to hit the Generate code each time you change the radio buttons though. Once you have what you want you simply copy the code from the box and add it to your web page where you want it to display. Aug 23rd 2007 16:45 |

Even the Blogs have "&user=USERNAME" at the end of the Blog URL on the Widgets. This should also follow through to a credited sign up even if someone only visits your blog i would think.... Aug 23rd 2007 17:58 |

Sorry for the extra post - I logged out and clicked on one of my blogs in the Widget. When i clicked on the "Sign-up" link at that blog page it went to my sign-up page. So yes, even the blogs direct users to your APsense affiliate account. Aug 23rd 2007 18:02 |

This feature is just wonderful. I am really looking forward to seeing my referral total increase. It doesn't matter where they go on the widget, they will be added to your network. It really is amazing. Lynn Aug 23rd 2007 18:11 |

Hi everyone, I can't believe I didn't jump on the referral program right away here at apsense. Thanks to your post Lynn we got on that and it was amazing to see a few join Apsense right away. The widget is fantastic Aug 24th 2007 08:10 |

I am glad that the widget is helping with your referrals. Apsense should be exploding with new members if everyone uses their website widget. Lynn Aug 24th 2007 15:01 |
This is way too cool! Between having widgets from Texty and Kanggie, adding this will eliminate my need to do much at all in building a simple webpage for TrEx's. I can't wait to see what's next.
