Radiation Therapy

Radiation therapy uses an ionizing form of radiation to damage or destroy diseased cells and tissues. These can be administered by a specialist in radiation oncology, who specializes in giving cancer treatment with radiation.

Chemotherapy

Chemotherapy is the use of drugs to destroy cancer cells, which may be given before and/or during surgery to shrink a large tumor and make it easier. It also reduces the risk of recurrences.
