Director of wow tbc classic gold production Patrick Dawson and World of Warcraft tbc lead engineer Brian Birmingham explained the motivations behind this bold retrofitting of the popular MMORPG and the benefits they hope to bring players.

"The community said we'd like World of Warcraft tbc. We examined it, it appeared to be an unfinished world and hacks to teleport. It wasn't as good as the level that Blizzard is today," Dawson told P2Pah. "Well what if we had our latest infrastructure? Could we retrofit it? So we set out on a few weeks of journey to discover what the world was like."The decision to recreate the old feel within the new system resulted in some decisions. For certain players rough edges represent the original character. Blizzard was left to decide what was appropriate and what wasn't and it was a matter of tough judgement decisions.

"Anything that could impact gameplay , we're going to ensure that we are delivering an experience real." Birmingham stated. "Where we think improvement in quality-of-life is acceptable include things like tabbing to add a name game mail. It's not element of the gameplay experience of leveling up, the quest to discover the world.

"Challenge is a component of the equation," Birmingham continued. "The world is a dangerous place. There are challenging group quests all over the world, top quests that aren't possible to complete on your own, or will need to level up when you attempt to complete them on your own. These quests will push you to seek out someone who can help you or help you out level them before returning in the future, or quit them and move further. There is no requirement to complete each quest in every area. You are able to choose your own path across the globe. That's precisely the kind of  buy Burning Crusade Classic Gold classic game that gamers are searching for."
