Established in 1970, PT Sumber Tani Agung Resources Tbk “STA Resources” is an oil palm plantation corporate group headquartered in Medan, North Sumatera. Over the last 50 years, STA Resources has constantly expanded the company’s business through organic growth and strategic acquisition.

To date, STA Resources has acquired over 42,158 hectares of oil palm plantations – both nucleus and plasma plantations – with a workforce of over 11,200 employees. The group manages an integrated business process overseeing 13 oil palm estates, 9 palm oil mills, 1 Kernel Crushing Facility, and 1 solvent extraction plant powered by a biogas power plant, all of which strategically situated in 4 provinces in Indonesia: North Sumatera, South Sumatera, West Kalimantan and Central Kalimantan.
