Latest Update MSCI Indonesia Index (March 1, 2021): Adds 1 Stock, Drops One

Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) included shares of PT Aneka Tambang Tbk. (ANTM.JK) as the newest global benchmark constituent in the country.

ANTM will join the calculation of MSCI Global Standard Indexes from Indonesia starting trading on March 1, 2021. Even so, the entry of ANTM was followed by the exit of PT. Ace Hardware Indonesia, Tbk (ACES.JK).

The MSCI Indonesia Index itself consists of 22 constituencies. Issuers included in this index will be the hunt for investors of global institutions that own giant funds such as insurance, pension funds, SWF, to equity firms in the Indonesian market. The index covers about 85% of the Indonesian equity universe.
