Follow these simple steps to successfully finish the Aadhaar-PAN link in no time.

Step #1: Send an SMS to 567678 or 56161 from your registered mobile number in this format:

UIDPAN<SPACE><12-digit Aadhaar><Space><10-digit PAN>

For example, if your 12-digit Aadhaar number is 112358132134 and your 10-digit PAN is ABCDEFGHIJ, you need to send the following SMS

Correction Facility in case your Aadhaar and PAN Details don’t match

The above methods work successfully only when all the details on your Aadhaar and your PAN card match completely. In case of any errors like spelling mistakes or abbreviated names, your PAN does not get linked with your Aadhaar.

In such a situation, you need to first correct the errors.

Visit the official NSDL website and update your PAN details. Once the details are corrected and updated, you will receive a mail from NSDL. Following this confirmation, you can proceed to link your PAN with Aadhaar.
