I Want To Grow My Triceps

You want to grow your tri’s, do you? Does the thought of underarm floppy bits stop you sleeping at night? Well the good news is that you’re not the only person who has that phobia and here’s the next new bulletin – you don’t have to go down that road ever.

Working the arms and the triceps in particular is not hard to do. There are lots of different ways to work the arms both in and out of the gym. You don’t even really need to have a gym membership if you don’t want to – there are so many different ways to exercise you can do it your way – to steal the words of a well-known song.

While this is a good goal you maybe want to think a little broader than just one muscle or muscle group. You probably already know that as you’re talking about growing your triceps and not your ‘arms’. The question is how to go about it.

Coming back to your triceps for a moment though – there are so many different exercise and exercise types out there perhaps you don’t know where to start. At the gym there are lots of machines which will help. They usually have pictures on them which point out which muscle groups they affect too. 

But the trick is not to focus on just one group – that means other muscles have to compensate – and over time that can lead to injury. Your personal trainer will help you develop a program which will accommodate all of these moving pieces and parts. You will get a series of rotations which will help you keep going back.

If the gym is not for you – there are other ways. You can grow those triceps by using a dining chair, and a personal trainer will help you to do it safely.
